Near the end of our two week trip, we all ended up in Auckland and separated to stay in the homes of friends from New Zealand. Dale and Betty, and Chuck and Bea had the pleasure of meeting and staying with Phil and Leigh Lambourn (from the Aukland chapter on the North Island). What wonderful hosts and friends they turned out to be.
These pictures were taken on their way to the Lambourns’ vacation home in Taupo Bay. (Unfortunately Dale was unaware that his camera was broken and three rolls of film taken on that excursion did not develop)
The Winning Combination manages to “embarass” Phil Lambough at the L.A. airport as he returns from the international convention at Salt Lake, Utah. His wife, Leigh, looks on with amusement. They stayed with Dale and Betty for the next week and all enjoyed the sights of Southern California.
The next year Dale and Betty had the pleasure of returning their hospitality when they came to the US and stayed at their home in La Habra.
