All four of “The Winning Combination” are members of “The Whittier Choralaires” who are members of “The Far Western District” of
“The Barbershop Harmony Society”

         As members of The Whittier Choralaires all have been deeply involved in chapter activities. Chuck has been in charge of mailings for all chapter events for about 20 years and Harvey has been tenor section leader, chapter president and for many years created the printed show program for the annual Christmas show.

       Marshall has acted and sung in all  the shows and in most cases has been the MC.  Dale for many years wrote the scripts for the annual shows, produced the flyers, designed the sets, and created  the Spring  show  printed programs. The Quartet also sang  in all  the shows for over 10 years.

       They have only sung in contests on two occasions. Both times in the Senior Division. They won second place in the Far Western District and first place in the Pan Pacific contest. However, they say contests don’t really interest them and they would rather perform in the community as much as possible. They LOVE TO SING!!
